The Porsche Asia Pacific Forza Cup is a car racing e-tournament on the Forza platform. Participants race in Porsche cars each week to compete for the best times to qualify for the Grand Finals – where the best racers compete against each other Live for the ultimate prize.
Participants joined from all over Asia Pacific – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand etc and over 547k viewers, and over 2.8 million people were reached in this campaign.
The campaign had to appeal to gamers while integrating closely with the Porsche brand identity. The campaign heavily featured Porsche’s iconic race cars and significant race tracks in Porsche’s history.
The campaign had multiple components – first, the microsite was launched to introduce the Porsche Forza Cup, developing into a base for participants to register and keep up to date throughout the e-tournament. Social media marketing strategies were also executed on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and through social media influencers.
The campaign culminated on 31 October 2020, where the finals was streamed live in an adrenaline pumping race between the finalists. Finalists and followers from all over Asia Pacific tuned in. A range of creative communication content were developed to explain and excite viewers as competitors raced to the finish line.
